2020线上智博会将设置线上展厅，全景式在线展示当前智能化领域新理念、新技术、新方案、新模式，以及呈现“智造重镇”“智慧名城”发展方面新成效。截至目前，共有线上参展单位551家。其中，重庆市外参展企业348家，占比63.2%；川崎、三菱、英特尔、IBM、西门子等外资企业及领馆148家，占比26.9%，其中世界500强企业48家；阿里、腾讯、华为、航天科工、兵工集团等中国500强企业57家。线上展览展示分设线上重庆、智能产品、智能制造、智能应用、智能技术和区域合作6个虚拟展区。
线上展览展示平台也于9月15日智博会开幕当天同步开放，市民朋友可以关注智博会官方网站、智博会APP及智博会微信公众号、智博会微信小程序、智博会手机端H5、智博会官方微博等多种形式观看，零距离体验智能科技的新潮与酷炫。
